The neighbor of a California couple who vanished ultimate weekend at a nudist lodge out of doors of Los Angeles has now been charged with killing them.
Town of Redlands spokesperson Carl Baker advised newshounds Friday that cadaver canines are in search of the residue of Stephanie and Daniel Menard on the Olive Dell Ranch in Colton following the arrest of 62-year-old Michael Sparks.
“We are confident that they are deceased and that they are still here on the property,” Baker stated. “We believe the bodies are on the site of his home.”
Baker added that Sparks used to be discovered hiding beneath his house Thursday night time then now not responding to police for a number of hours. Officials in the end breached Sparks’ house and “due to extensive damage, the structure will need to be made safe before searchers can enter,” consistent with the Redlands Police Department.

Investigators say the Menards have been reported lacking through a chum on Sunday and have been ultimate revealed at their house Saturday on the lodge.
“The Menards’ unlocked vehicle was located down the road from their residence the same day. Stephanie Menard’s purse was located inside of her residence along with her and Daniel’s cell phones,” the Redlands Police Branch stated. “The Menards’ dog, a small white Shih Tzu named Cuddles, is also missing.”

Tammie Wilkerson, recognized through KABC as a chum of the couple, advised the station “”There’s disagree manner that Stephanie or Dan may have walked clear of that automotive.

Sparks has now been charged with murder. The purpose for the alleged killings is opaque.
