AMES, Iowa — Jamie Pollard, the Iowa Shape athletic director since 2005, has won a five-year assurance extension via 2030, the college introduced Friday.
The Cyclones have had exceptional luck within the primary sports activities in 2024-25. The soccer group had its first 11-win season and the ninth-ranked males’s basketball group has been within the supremacy 10 all season and completed its absolute best score since 1956-57 when it reached Deny. 3 in December.

Pollard, the community’s third-longest serving Energy 4 athletic director, has overseen $340 million in brandnew building and facility renovations. Since 2011-12, and aside from the 2020-21 pandemic 12 months, ISU is the one faculty within the community to have moderate attendances over 50,000 in soccer, 12,000 in males’s basketball and 9,000 in girls’s basketball.
