Gwen Stefani has not too long ago damaged her quiet on Blake Shelton fracture speculations.
Chatting with Nylon book, Gwen mentioned, “When you’re in love and have truly aligned values, nobody can get to us.”
“You can say whatever you want to say about our relationship — I mean, a week ago we were getting divorced again or something,” remarked the singer-songwriter while discussing about social media rumours.
Gwen mentioned, “It’s simply lies. In actual fact the reality, and we all know what this is.”
Elsewhere in the interview, the No Doubt crooner expressed her fear about her relation with Blake which was the reason behind the creation of a duet they released in February, Purple Irises.
“If anyone comes alongside and tries to / Love you prefer I do / Don’t know what I’d do / Don’t wish to lose you,” she sings within the tune, then including: “Refuse, I by no means knew a love like this. Now we’re selecting / Crimson irises.”
Elaborating on why she wrote Crimson Irises, Gwen identified, “I had been going through those times where you’re questioning: ‘Oh my gosh, am I just getting older? Am I cute?'”
“In my own relationship, even though I know the truth of what’s happening today, you still create drama in your own mind about your insecurities and what might happen. I was in that phase of the relationship with Blake and getting paranoid,” confessed the songwriter.
In the meantime, Gwen famous that Crimson Irises “is a symbol of her strong bond with Blake”.
Upcoming virtually a decade with Blake, Gwen discussed, “The truth is I am in love with my best friend. All this I’m thinking of in my brain, that’s all it is — I’m overthinking,” persevered the 54-year-old.
After all, Gwen added, “So that [negativity] would never penetrate just by me being vulnerable and sharing a song that I didn’t write for anybody else but myself and Blake.”
